AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is eagerly anticipating the Champions League round-of-16 meeting with Barcelona and has stressed that the Rossoneri are approaching the tie unworried.
The Catalans are seen as one of the favourites to win European club football's elite competition, but Galliani remains optimistic about his side's chances.
"Barcelona have long been Europe’s finest team, but we are quite relaxed about the tie," the Milan supremo was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"The Champions League is different than the league as you have to give the maximum to get to the next round."
Milan and Barcelona previously met in the group stages last term, before the San Siro side were beaten by the Catalans in the quarter-finals, and Galliani feels it is quite strange that they are now meeting once more.
"It’s bizarre, we’ll have met them six times over two seasons," he added.
The first leg takes place at San Siro on February 20.
