Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni and striker Antonio Cassano have been handed bans by Serie A officials after their conduct in the Nerazzurri's 2-2 draw with Cagliari.
Italy international Cassano has been banned for his side's next two matches, meaning he will miss the games against Parma and Palermo whilst Stramaccioni will be absent from the dugout for the former.
The former Milan forward has been punished for arguing with the officials whilst walking down the tunnel post-match after the San Siro outfit were denied a late penalty by the referee that would have handed them a chance of taking all three points.
Trainer Stramaccioni was sent to the stands for his protests regarding the decision and will be forced to watch away from the technical area when his side travel to the Stadio Ennio Tardini next Monday.
The decisions are a blow to the 2010 Serie A champions as they look to cut the four-point gap to leaders Juventus at the top of the table.
