The 65-year-old has stated the new arrivals at the club will get a taste of how important the clash on Sunday is, and revealed that he is expecting a spectacle at the OlimpicoRoma's head coach Zdenek Zeman says that the players who have not yet experienced the Rome derby will realise exactly how huge an occasion it is as soon as they step onto the pitch against Lazio.
The Giallorossi boss revealed that he will not look to counter specific threats and reiterated his hope that both teams will show respect to each other and deliver a memorable game.
"The players who had already played in this derby before will be used to it, while the newcomers will realise how important it is once they step onto the pitch," Zeman told at a press conference.
"The derby that I remember the most was my first with Lazio, we lost 3-0. I have been happy at both clubs, but I have to admit the Roma supporters are more passionate.
"I understand that this is a derby match and both sets of fans will be wanting their team to win, but the match should be about playing good football and that will make it a great spectacle.
"How do I stop Hernanes? I will prepare my team against another team, not against individuals. I do not know Vladimir Petkovic well, but he has brought organisation into his team and he has done a good job."
Only two points separate Roma and Lazio in the Serie A standings, with the two teams occupying fifth and sixth place, respectively.
