The Nerazzurri's new signing has set his sights on a goal in their upcoming Europa League qualifying match after finding the net in each of his three appearances in pre-season

Inter striker Rodrigo Palacio has said his dream is to score on his official debut for the club, after putting in some impressive pre-season performances.

The 30-year-old, who arrived at San Siro from Genoa for an undisclosed fee in June, scored 41 goals during his three-year stint with the Liguria outfit, and has netted three times in as many games during pre-season for Inter, against AC Milan, Como, and in the 1-1 draw against Celtic.

And the Argentine believes that his most recent strike could help lift the Nerazzurri ahead of their Europa League qualifier against Hajduk Split, and is targeting another strike against the Croatian side.

"My dream? A goal on my official debut," he told the club's official website. "We are working hard to be ready to challenge for both the Europa League and the Scudetto.

"It was important not to leave Celtic Park with a defeat ahead of our match against Hajduk Split on Thursday. I scored a nice goal after the ball arrived very quickly to me. "
