The Netherlands international faces a spell on the sidelines after picking up a muscular problem while away on international duty in midweekBayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes will have to make do without the services of Arjen Robben in this weekend's Bundesliga match against Nurnberg and Tuesday's Champions League game versus Valencia due to a muscle injury.
The winger picked up the knock in the international friendly between Netherlands and Germany on Wednesday, and will be out of action for the foreseeable future.
"He will not be available for tomorrow's game, and won't feature against Valencia either," Heynckes was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
It is not yet exactly known how long Robben will be sidelined due to the knock, but Bayern are hopeful that he will be back in time for next week's home match versus Hannover.
The Dutchman has made only five Bundesliga appearances so far this term due to his ongoing injury worries.
