The Swede's agent does not believe his client should even have been booked during Paris Saint-Germain's 2-1 win over Valencia on TuesdayMino Raiola, the agent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has claimed that the referee who sent off the Paris Saint-Germain striker against Valencia on Tuesday should be banned.
The Swedish striker was dismissed in the dying moments of his side's 2-1 victory at Mestalla, but the controversial agent is certain that his client did no wrong.
"[Paolo] Tagliavento deserves a four-match ban," he was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"It was not even a yellow card. If you ask me, the referee wanted to book him, and the linesman told him to use the red card, in which case, the suspension should be halved."
The Uefa disciplinary committe is set to meet on February 27 to discuss Ibrahimovic's red card.
PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti has also claimed that the former AC Milan striker did not deserve to be sent off on Tuesday.
