The younger brother of the Italian star has canceled his contract with the Malta side for lack of playing time
Mario Balotelli’s brother Enoch Barwuah has severed ties with Maltese side Qormi FC due to lack of playing time.
Qormi Italian coach Tommaso Volpi told The Sunday Times of Malta that the player was due to leave the Island after asking for his contract to be rescinded.
He said he was unable to guarantee the 20-year-old striker a regular place on the pitch. The player had been recommended by football agent Claudio Chiellini, the brother of Juventus and Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.
Various clubs on the Island are said to be interested in his services but it is unclear if he will stay. He was due to join Romanian side Steua Bucharesti during the summer after impressing on trials but the deal failed at the last hour.
Barwuah had trials with Napoli and Stoke City previously and had also played for English lower tier side Salford City.
