Suarez has struck 17 Premier League goals so far this season, and it is his form that will likely see Liverpool top the table, and, depending on what happens between Arsenal and Chelsea on Monday, Rodgers' men could even lead the league on Christmas Day.

Manchester United, meanwhile, progressed to the Capital One Cup semi-finals this week, and now face another of the midweek victors, West Ham, at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Having experienced home defeats to Everton, Newcastle and West Brom so far, David Moyes will hope their recent resurgence will continue against the Hammers. But West Ham, buoyed by their second victory at Spurs this season, desperately need league points of their own as they look to move away from the relegation zone.
Elsewhere, the Premier League has certainly saved the best until last. Arsenal will expect to find themselves in second spot come kick-off Monday evening against Chelsea, and following their punishing 6-3 defeat away to Manchester City last time out, Arsene Wenger will be looking for a reaction.

Chelsea however need a pick-me-up of their own, having crashed out of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday at the hands of Sunderland. Jose Mourinho’s side sit two points behind Arsenal, and depending on what happens at Anfield, could send their opponents down to third place with victory at the Emirates Stadium.
