thumbnail Hello,

The two Manchester clubs have been kept apart in the draw for the last four of the competition but could meet in the final if they can get past West Ham and Sunderland

Manchester City will face West Ham in the Capital One Cup semi-finals with rivals United drawn against Sunderland.

Sam Allardyce's men confirmed their spot in the last four with a 2-1 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Wednesday and will face Manuel Pellegrini's men who cruised past Leicester City on Tuesday.

In the second semi-final, Sunderland, who beat Chelsea 2-1 at the Stadium of Light after extra-time, will take on Manchester United after they beat Stoke 2-0 at the Britannia Stadium thanks to goals from Ashley Young and Patrice Evra.

The first-leg encounters will be played in the week commencing January 6 before the return games a fortnight later.
