Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan could not make it in the final three for the Caf Player of the Year 2013 award.
Ivorian duo of Yaya Toure and Didier Drogba made the final three for a second successive year and will face competition from Nigeria’s John Obi Mikel.
The winner will be announced on January 9, 2014 at the GLO-CAF Awards Gala to be held in Lagos, Nigeria.
