An Egyptian referee and linesmen have been designated to take charge of the Cameroon-Cape Verde encounter in the return leg of the 2013 Afcon final qualifying round

Caf has appointed an Egyptian trio to preside over the Cameroon-Cape Verde match in the return leg of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations final qualifying round set for October 14 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde.

Greisha Gihed will stand as referee while Degaish Aymen and Ashor Mahmoud will assist as linesmen.

Mali’s Souleymane Magassouba will play the role of match commissioner, with Paul Bassey from Nigeria as security officer.

The Indomitable Lions were beaten 2-0 in the first leg which led to the dismissal of French coach Denis Lavagne, who was immediately replaced by Cameroonian Jean Paul Akono.

Akono on Monday published his roster for the faceoff and also presented his collaborators to the local press.

Former U23 team coach Martin Ntdoungou Mpille is now the Lions assistant coach, while former international goalkeeper Jacques Songo’o returns to the fold as goalkeeping coach.

Monkam Sylvain replaces Frenchman Christophe Manouvrier as fitness coach. Abane Emmanuel comes on board as the team’s psychologist.
