Anzhi coach Guus Hiddink is eager to add more firepower to his squad, and will get his desired reinforcements with the imminent arrival of the 22-year-old for an undisclosed transfer fee.
"Traore's transfer is totally in line with the goals that our club has set this season, achieving the highest possible results in the Russian league as well as in Europe," Anzhi general director Aivaz Kaziakhmedov told the club's official website.
The Ivorian attacker joined Kuban from CFR Cluj in February 2011, and had since developed into a key player at the Krasnodar side.
Traore netted 18 goals in 39 appearances in the 2011-12 campaign.
