This victory comes on the heels of another one in their maiden appearance in the Caf Confederation Cup tournament, despite their financial difficulties.
The Cape Coast-based club dominated most part of play, but goalkeeper Henry Yartey was their barrier to goal. It was one of the finest performances of Edubiase and their perseverance paid off when Mamoud Suleman found the back of the net in the 70th minute.
They kept piling the pressure to double their lead, however, finishing was always an issue to deal with. Coach Anthony Commey and his charges saw off the visitors without gifting them a point.
