Referee: T. Stieler
• Attendance: 71000
F. Ribéry 19', 47'
It's time for me, Miles Chambers, to bow out and bid you all good morning/afternoon/evening/night (depending where you are). I hope you've enjoyed this clash - stick around on Goal.com for all the reaction to this game and many more this evening and all weekend!
Another Bayern Bundesliga match, another simple victory for the Die Roten. That win gives them 21 (and maximum) points from seven league matches this season while it ends Hoffenheim's three-match unbeaten streak.
The officials don't even bother adding any stoppage time on in this clash, and the full-time whistle blows six seconds after the 90-minute mark. It finishes Bayern Munich 2-0 Hoffenheim thanks to two Franck Ribery strikes either side of half-time!
Franck Ribery 10 2-0 Hoffenheim is how you might describe this match, and the star of the show exits to universal applause around the Allianz Arena.
Luiz Gustavo comes on to face his former club for Javi Martinez, who has had an off game considering his €40 million price tag. The again, the defensive midfielder has helped his defence keep a clean sheet so it's not all bad!
Hoffenheim are being allowed to have a bit of the ball because Bayern are basically conserving energy. No real threat from this toothless team today.
The free-kick is too near Neuer and the Germany international goalkeeper catches it with ease.
Stephan Schrock has his go at fooling the referee after leaping to the ground from Badstuber's physical but perfectly-good tackle on the Hoffenheim right.
Ten minutes to go at the Allianz Arena. If anybody still harbours hope for a Hoffenheim comeback I sincerely advise you let yourself down slowly right now.
Ribery dives to the floor after Rudy puts his body in the way of the ball, but the referee is fooled and it's a Bayern free-kick just before the halfway line.
But, to be honest, most of the Bayern play has been possession-based ahead of the back four so Mandzukic's chances have been limited to say the least.
Mandzukic has been relatively quiet - compared to his recent goalscoring standards - this afternoon.
Javier Martinez is the tiniest fraction away from nodding Bayern 3-0 ahead, but it skids passed his forehead for a Hoffenheim goal-kick.
Delpierre blocks Badstuber's deep cross from the left. Corner to the Munich-based club.
Utter Bayern domination. Heynckes will be delighted with this performance considering they lost in the week to lowly Belarus side BATE.
Beck with a firm but fair challenge on the edge of the box on Bayern attacker Ribery, after Shaqiri's close-field diagonal run from right to left to lay-off the Frenchman.
Yellow Card Roberto Firmino
Bayern's possession stats sneak up to 59%. If that isn't above 60% by the end of the game I will be fairly surprised...
A double sub by Hoffenheim coach Markus Babbel, who looks to reinvigorate this team who have been penned in their own half for a worryingly long time.
Shaqiri does well to get a shot away and - in fact - the strike was goalbound before it hit a Hoffenheim head and went out for a corner.
Ribery gets a free-kick wide on the left about 10 yards from the corner flag after Delpierre gives him an obvious push.
Yellow Card Andreas Beck
I've just heard Shaqiri be compared to the Michelin man. No, I've no idea why either!
Yellow Card Daniel Williams
Williams is booked presumably for mouthing off to the referee because he is nowhere near the ball when it's hoofed out for a throw-in.
Bayern have only conceded twice in six prior matches - the omens aren't great for the visitors.
Beck was again to blame for that goal by the way. Though I won't criticise him much because I couldn't mark Ribery! (Though I'm not paid to play football for a living, sadly...)
Assist Toni Kroos
Goal Franck Ribéry
GOAL! Casually as you like, Ribery makes it 2-0 with his second of the match! Toni Kroos fall over his shot but passes it left inside the box for the unmarked winger to easily curl it home for Bayern Munich.
Roberto Firminho shoots hopefully from around 30 yards but it dribbles towards Neuer's feet.
And Hoffenheim get us back under way!
That's half-time! Hoffenheim were resilient but one defensive lapse let Franck Ribery slide in for the hosts. Bayern Munich will want to push on after the break to ensure the well-organised visitors cannot sneak back into this Bundesliga match.
Two minutes of stoppage time at the Allianz Arena.
Badstuber gives away a ridiculously needless free-kick, but luckily for the Bayern defender Hoffenheim can't create anything from it on the right flank near the corner flag.
Mandzukic crosses hastily instead of picking his pass for Ribery, and as a result Hoffenheim can clear the rash ball.
A quality through ball lets Ribery loose down the middle but the France international cuts his shot just wide of the left post to ensure the score remains just 1-0.
The ball pings loosely in, out and around the box for a wee while, but no, Bayern cannot get anything from that free-kick.
Rudy hacks down Shaqiri 30 yards from goal on the right wing. Can Bayern get anything from this free-kick?
A dramatic (and amusingly unnecessary!) header from goalkeeper Manuel Neuer outside of his box when the ball is played over the heads of Bayern defender Jerome Boateng and Joselu.
Do you like watching a team just dominate with sleek but not-very-progressive passing? You'd enjoy this Bayern domination right now...
Muller was withdrawn for Shaqiri as a precautionary measure after sustaining a nasty cut beneath his left eye earlier on in this Bundesliga clash.
Ribery is furious for being deemed to have fouled Delpierre,, but his protestations fall on deaf ears.
Mandzukic is battered to the floor in a heap when Casteels clatters into the Bayern striker. Quite why referees blow their whistle and give the free-kick to the keeper in those situations I will never, ever understand.
Fabian Johnson's cross from the left is headed over from five yards by an under-pressure Joselu.
Beck and Casteels were both to blame for that goal with slow reactions to his turn of pace and shot respectively.
Assist Thomas Müller
Goal Franck Ribéry
GOAL! From a tight angle, Ribery - the most creative of Bayern's attackers in the early stages - sprints past Beck to fire past Casteels to send the hosts 1-0 ahead!
Hoffenheim midfielder Sebastian Rudy has been the most impressive player so far for me. His tackling and passing has been great so far.
Fun fact: both sides have an 81 per cent passing completion rate with 17 minutes gone!
Andreas Beck overlaps down the right and wins a corner for Hoffenheim. The visitors have been very positive so far and haven't let the intimidating atmosphere get the better of them!
Visiting defender Daniel Williams and Ribery are having a little verbal scuffle on the Allianz Arena pitch, and the referee comes over to tell the duo to put down their handbags and focus on their football.
Ribery cuts inside along the edge of the box from the left but sees his shot semi-blocked by French compatriot Matthieu Delpierre, and if spoons into the air for Hoffenheim keeper Koen Casteels to catch with ease.
Thomas Muller charges forwards but is crowded out just past the centre circle. Hoffenheim doing well to mute the threat thus far.
By the way, been wondering where Arjen Robben is? The Dutch winger could not recover full fitness for this clash, unlike Robery who evidently could.
Hoffenheim, lest we forget, were given a 7-1 mauling by Bayern in this fixture last season. Jupp Heynckes won't mind another match like that one! Not one bit...
Bastian Schweinsteiger with a nasty tackle on a Hoffenheim player and the referee strolls over speedily to have a word with the Germany international.
Franck Ribery flashes a ball across the face of goal after dribbling into the visitors' box from the left. No Mario Mandzukic to knock the ball into the back of the net, unfortunately for the home fans.
After seven successive defeats, Hoffenheim are now unbeaten in three matches. Not too shabby after such a poor streak!
Bayern get the game under way!
I won't sit here and pretend last year's Champions League finalists are not the favourites though - prior to their loss during the week they had gone on a nine-match winning streak and have claimed 100% of their possible points in the league this season.
The big question on everybody's lips ahead of this afternoon's Bundesliga bout is can Bayern bounce back from their defeat to BATE Borisov in the Champions League?!
Hoffenheim: Casteels; Beck, Compper, Delpierre, Johnson; Rudy, Ochs; Usami, Firmino, Willams; Joselu. Subs: Grahl, Thesker, Vestergaard, Schrock, Derdiyok, Volland.
Bayern Munich: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Badstuber; Martinez, Schweinsteiger; Muller, Kroos, Ribery; Mandzukic. Subs: Starke, Van Buyten, Rafinha, Shaqiri, Gustavo, Tymoshchuk, Pizarro.
Hello and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE! coverage of Bayern Munich v Hoffenheim! The match kicks off at 15:30 CET and I - Miles Chambers - will be shuffling you from match fact, to miss description, to the occasional analysis, and perhaps even to a goal or two. (Fingers crossed!)
