Tanzania national team Taifa Stars head coach Kim Poulsen has warned Morocco that they are perfectly prepared ahead of Sunday’s Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Atlas Lions.

Taifa Stars host Morocco at the National Stadium in a Group C clash that could go a long way to deciding whether the team progress any further in the competition.

Tanzania has never beaten Morocco in all international matches the teams have played against each other.

But after a recent run of good form in international friendly matches, which included 1-0 triumphs against both Zambia and Cameroon, the Stars are expected to prove too strong on their home turf and Poulsen has backed the assertion by promising that they will fight hard to gain victory.

Twice Morocco inflicted defeats to Tanzania during the Africa Nations Cup qualifier series in 2010 when the Stars were under Kim’s predecessor, Jan Poulsen.

However, Poulsen is convinced that the Stars have prepared well and capable of overcoming the hoodoo this time around and bolster their World Cup qualification bid.

Mrisho Ngassa, who recently joined TP Mazembe of Democratic Republic of Congo, is easily one of the Tanzanian top players.

Morocco coach Rachid Taoussi has dropped top players for the match. The coach has given local-based players more prominence in the squad leaving out most of the country's foreign based stars.

Among those who will not feature in the match include Younes Belhanda who turns out for French champions Montepellier.

Also missing from the Morocco squad are Liverpool wingers and Morocco’s best players Oussama Assaidi, Karim El Ahmadi and Mounir El Hamdaoui.

Also, defenders Mehdi Benatia, injured, and Ahmed Kantari of Udinese and Stade Brest respectively have also been ignored, with Taoussi opting for his locals who make up 16 of the 24 players called up for the first leg encounter.

Morocco’s Atlas Lions are third in Group C with two points behind Taifa Stars on three and Cote D’Ivoire’s Elephants on four.
