After 17 months of injury torture, Wilshere made his first-team return against QPR, immediately slotting back into the side. His second appearance saw him sent off against Manchester United, proving the passion and fire, which spilled over a bit too much, had not left him.
The 21-year-old still only has one career Premier League goal to his name, but he has struck against Montpellier in the Champions League and Swansea in the FA Cup this term.
His return is not only good news for Arsenal fans, but also England too. Wilshere made a substitute outing in the Three Lions' 4-2 defeat to Sweden before turning in a man-of-the-match performance against World Cup 2014 hosts, Brazil, as the Selecao were beaten 2-1 at Wembley.
