1. Tom Ince to Liverpool
One of the longest-running sagas of the window, and one that many thought would have been concluded long before the final week, is Tom Ince's proposed move to Liverpool.
The Blackpool winger, who has scored 15 goals in 27 Championship appearances this season, has been the subject of a bid from the Reds - thought to be in the region of £6 million - which was dismissed by then-Seasiders boss Michael Appleton as not sizeable enough.
Goal.com exclusively revealed on Monday that Premier League strugglers Reading had joined the race for the 20-year-old with an £8 million offer, news which manager Brian McDermott confirmed on Tuesday, but it is understood that Ince is holding out for a return to Liverpool.
The switch had been held up by Blackpool's request to have a sell-on clause inserted into the deal for the wideman, and Reading's superior offer strengthen's the Championship side's hand.
Similarly, Liverpool had a 35 per cent sell-on clause in the deal that took Ince to the Seasiders in August 2011, meaning that the Merseysiders will end up paying £5.2m if the agreed fee is £8m.
