Roma were hit hard over the course of the last full campaign, and saw their revenue drop almost 20% from 2010-11’s £120.6m total. Such a fall displays just how hard hit a club can be when it falls out of the Champions League, while their disappointing overall performance certainly took its toll, too. US owner Thomas Di Benedetto is trying to open up new markets for the club, but while their long-term outlook is healthy, without the Champions League to boost their income, they are threatening to fall out of the Money League and lose their status as one of the 11 ever-present sides.
