Zesco United will have to do without Kenyan duo when they face Recreativo Do Libolo in Caf Confederation Cup.

The Team Ya Ziko have confirmed that striker Jesse Were and midfielder Anthony Akumu will not feature in the tie scheduled for Luanda. Were will miss the game due to a muscle injury he sustained while on national duty in Kenya while Akumu is serving a ban. Another player, who will not feature is Kondwani Mtonga, also through suspension.

Zesco United are in the driving seat of Group C after they beat CRD Libolo of Angola in their last match. Zesco United have accumulated six points, two more than Smouha of Egypt and Obied, who drew 1-1 in Alexandria  on June 3. Libolo are at the bottom on 3 points.
