Coach Ze Maria remains confident that K'ogalo will be the team to watch this season after another top display on Sunday

Gor Mahia has managed two wins in a row and coach Ze Maria says it is just the beginning of good things to come.

After defeating Tusker FC 1-0 in the KPL Super Cup, the fifteen times league champions thrashed Kariobangi Sharks 3-1 during their season opener. Ze Maria now says the team is getting back to its best shape and the recent results says a lot about it.

"I am impressed with the way my players played against them (Sharks), it was a good match and we took our chances well. Sometimes, these so called 'smaller' teams give their all when playing against us, but this time we did not allow it to happen, from the first to final whistle," the Brazilian told Goal.

Ze Maria added  he was impressed that the team had started off with a win, a contrast to last season when they started badly. "When I took over the team last season, they had gone for four matches without a win but look at our display against Sharks...there is great improvement and we need to strive on.

"We are getting back to our best and I am sure we will hit our height soon, our latest results are a plus to us."

K'Ogalo will now face another promoted side Zoo Kericho in their next league match at Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Saturday.
