Zanzibar's duo to miss Cecafa semi final againts Uganda

Goalkeeper Mohammed Abrahaman also returns to the starting lineup in place of Ahmed Sulleiman

Zanzibar will miss the services of Suleiman Khamis and Amour Suleiman for the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup semi-final against Uganda.

The duo, who have been ruled out with injuries, will join left-back Mwinyi Haji Ngwali, who is suspended after accumulating two yellow cards. Ngwali’s  place has been taken by Adeyuni Saleh.

Mohammed Issa also made a return to the first team after starting in the bench against Libya.

Issa who was voted man of the match against Tanzania missed Zanzibar’s last group A match against Libya.

Goalkeeper Mohammed Abrahaman also returns to the starting lineup in place of Ahmed Sulleiman.

Zanzibar have stunned many with their impressive performance that saw them down Rwanda and Tanzania before playing draws with Kenya and Libya to top group A.

The match will take place on Friday afternoon at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Starting XI: Mohammed Abrahman,  Ibrahim Mohamed Said, Adeyum Ahmed Seif, Abdulla Salum Kheri, Issa Haidar Dau, Abdul azizi Makame Hassan, Mohamed Issa Juma, Mudathir Yahya Abass, Ibrahim Hamad Ahmada, Feisal Salum Abdallah, Suleiman Kassim Suleiman.

Reserves: Ahmed Ali Suleima, Nassor Mrisho Salim, Mohd Othman Mmang, Ibrahim Abdallah Hamad, Abdullah Haji Shaibu, Seif Abdallah Rashid, Hamad Mshamata, Khamis Mussa Makame, Abdul Kassim Ali.
