Yaya Toure returns to Manchester City for pre-season training

The Ivory Coast international is back in the city of Manchester ahead of the Citizens’ scheduled tour to the United States of America

Yaya Toure has resumed at Manchester City’s training centre for the usual pre-season medical tests and trainings.

The 34-year-old midfielder looks set for the new season and City’s three-match tour in the International Champions Cup with games against Manchester United, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur next week.

Suprisingly, the former African Player of the Year heralded his return with Mancunian slangs, few words used around the city of Manchester City, in describing how good his vacation was.

Pep Guardiola’s men will also face West Ham in Iceland on August 4 before they visit the Amex Stadium to begin their Premier League campaign against Brighton and Hove Albion on August 12.
