Kariobangi Sharks defeated Tusker FC 2-1 in a Kenyan Premier League match played at Ruaraka grounds last weekend.

The result put to an end the brewers perfect run of three wins in as many matches under coach Robert Matano. Sharks coach William Muluya has lauded his charges for the excellent display that he believes will have an impact in the coming matches.

“Tusker is a good team, three wins out of three meant their confidence was good. However, my players came and gave absolutely everything and we managed to get maximum points.

“This win is important to us, it is a motivation and I believe it will affect as positively in the coming matches, we needed it,” Muluya told Goal.

The Sharks are places in 8th position with twenty points.
