SportPesa All Stars fell 1-2 to Hull City academy team in a friendly match played on Monday

Tusker FC captain James Situma has acknowledged the Kenyan Premier League All Stars were nervous against Hull City in the match’s first-half on Monday.

Situma was among the players who played for the entire 90 minutes as the locals fell 2-1. The versatile defender is however happy with the experience which he feels is a plus to the team.

"The weather was not that friendly when we arrived, it was freezing on the first day but we coped well with the situation. It was definitely a good experience, every player had something to learn.

"We were nervous in the first half, but we improved in the second stanza and did our best, though we lost. Next time it will definitely be different," he told Goal.

The team jetted back from England on Wednesday with most players set to join their respective clubs from Friday.
