Western Stima are now ready to tackle whichever opponent they will be handed over the weekend

Western Stima head coach Henry Omino says his team is ready for the Kenyan Premier League’s start this weekend.

The power men will face either Muhoroni Youth or Vihiga United depending on the Sports Disputes Tribunal ruling. However the tactician has revealed that two key players will not be available following minor injuries picked last weekend during a friendly match against Zoo Kericho.

"It has been the long wait, but finally it is here, we are looking forward to playing our first match this weekend with the aim of getting maximum points. Yes, we are prepared for this match and it will be a good opportunity for players to show what they have.

"We will miss the services of Oduor (Victor) and Nyangechi (Wycliffe) who were injured last weekend but I have their replacements," he told Goal.

The match will be played at Moi Stadium, Kisumu on Sunday as from 3:00pm.
