The Phobians coach has been enjoined to part ways with the club to improve his health

Veteran Ghanaian coach JE Sarpong says Hearts of Oak boss Henry Wellington should leave the club to save his life.

Wellington has come under intense pressure following the Phobians’ current poor performance in the Ghana Premier League.

Owing to ill-health, the Accra-born has been excused from coaching duties, consequently missing their last two league matches.

“I will advise Wellington to use the excuse opportunity to quit as the coach of Hearts," Sarpong on GTV Sports +.

"I believe that can help him.

“We lost the late Offei Ansah through pressure and I advise Wellington to be careful.

“Since he has been given some time off, he should take advantage and resign."
