The Ikon Allah boy is confident his side will see off the Flying Antelopes in their second Nigeria topflight clash in Lokoja on Sunday

Niger Tornadoes’ Andrew Ikefe insists his side will be aiming to humble Enugu Rangers when they meet in a Nigerian topflight clash at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium.

The Ikon Allah Boys, on the back of losing 3-1 defeat against Wikki Tourist at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, will confront the Flying Antelopes in search for their 11th home of the season.

Having secured a 1-1 draw at the Nnmadi Azikwe Stadium, the defender believes a victory over the Enugu based side will be unavoidable as he boasts their visitors will surely crumble in Lokoja.

"We are very eager to return to winning ways after our [Wikki Tourist] defeat in Bauchi," Ikefe told Goal.

"It was a bad outing for us because we really gave a good account of ourselves. Our target was to return with at least a point in Bauchi but it never happened. Losing is also part of football and we have put the defeat behind us.

"Our attention is now on getting well prepared to beat Enugu Rangers at home. I know it will be a tough game but we have to work hard and play as a unit. We won't spare them.

"I’m glad we picked a point in Enugu against them and I’m confident maximum points will be ours on Sunday. I have no doubt in the array of talents to silence them. Nothing will stop us from winning the match.”
