Ahead of Sunday's encounter, Victor Chidume says Remo Stars want to avenge the loss suffered at the hands of MFM earlier in the season.
A Stephen Odey penalty condemned Fatai Osho's men to a 1-0 defeat at the Agege Stadium in the first leg of the southwest derby.
And the Sky Blue Stars welcome Fidelis Illechukwu’s men to the Sagamu Stadium for the corresponding fixture.
The midfielder says they still feel the sting of that defeat and are ‘angry’ going into this tie.
“We are expecting a tough match, but we have been working toward this fixture. This is the match that everyone on our team have been looking forward to play,” Chidume told Goal.
“When we played the first leg, we tried our best and even had a goal disallowed but here this time around we are going to win this game – that is what I can assure you.
“What we experienced at the Agege stadium wasn’t what we expected, so now all of us are very angry and fired up to ensure we get nothing but a win in this derby tie.
“We also want to make our fans happy, so we are ready to fight and ensure we win this game, not just for ourselves but for our fans," he concluded.
