The forward has blamed his team’s defeat in the final of the biggest grassroot football tournament on hard luck

Owerri City College forward Henry Williams insisted that luck was not his side as they lost 1-0 to Progress Comprehensive High School, Osun in the Copa Coca-Cola national final on Friday.

Williams who has been on song for the Eastern Heartland throughout the competition feels that his side were unlucky after putting on their best performance as Akinlabi Adewale’s first half strike deprived them of the top prize.

After a failed attempt to clinch the national top prize, the teenager admitted they feel bad and they will need to work harder in the next edition to be crowned champions.
