We performed poorly, says Ikotun Senior's Oladipupo

The midfielder expressed displeasure at his side's display as they crumbled to two first half goals to concede the title to their Ojokoro counterparts

Michael Oladipupo says Ikotun Senior High School were underwhelming with their performance following their 2-0 loss to Ijaiye Housing Estate Senior Grammar School in the final of the GTBank Principals Cup.

Goals from David Lawal and Moses Toriola in the first half was all their opponents needed to snatch the trophy away from the Ikotun outfit.

And, although the midfielder was impressed by their feat in the competition, he felt otherwise about their showing in the final game of the tourney.

"I feel very bad. I do not understand what happened to us today. We were poor with our performance. We came to the final to win," Oladipupo told Goal.

"[Ijaiye Housing Estate Senior Grammar School] played fine and were rewarded. God helped them.

"I hoped for the winning. I just thank God that we made it to the final some have been kicked out since the preliminaries and had no part in this occasion," he concluded.
