The Savannah Scorpions’ forward said their focus withered towards the end of their encounter with the Oluyole Warriors and they paid dearly for it

Samuel Agba says that loss of concentration at the crucial stage saw Shooting Stars force Gombe United to a 1-1 draw at the Pantami Stadium on Sunday.

In an encounter dominated by Manu Garba's men, Agba opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 30th minute. But with a minute left of injury time, Nonso Mbakwe popped up with the equalizer.

“The game very okay for us but at the tail end of the game we lost concentration and that was when they scored their goal," Agba told Goal.

“We are very disappointed because we didn’t expect a draw from the game. It was a last minute goal, with just one minute of added time left and they put the goal in the back of our net.

“They only had luck drawing because in the game we overpowered them throughout.

“Everybody is shocked concerning the draw, no one is happy everyone seems weak but we’ll overcome it,” he concluded.
