Following their victory against the People's Elephants in Lokoja, the goalkeeper claims his side remain undeterred in their quest for glory

Niger Tornadoes' Mustapha Aliko says his side will remain focused after defeating Enyimba in the Nigeria Professional Football League encounter.

Sadiq Sulieman’s strike helped Abubakar Bala’s men see off 10-man People’s Elephants to move to the sixth position on the Nigeria topflight log.

Glad that his team won against a strong Gbenga Ogunbote's men, the Minnna based outfit's skipper says they want to concentrate on their remaining games to avoid any slip.

“Our win against Enyimba was fantastic. We are very happy and still celebrating it,” Aliko told Goal.

“We knew that they will be tough for us, but trained and prayed hard, charged ourselves up and at the end, God crowned our efforts with victory.

“Honestly, Enyimba was a very good side and they really gave us a huge fight. If I would rate their performance, they will score eight out of ten.

“We had to get an goal early and we gave 120 percent of our best to ensure we won. For us, the three points were all that mattered and not the number of goals.

“We are glad we won and we hope to remain focused by giving our best in coming matches.”
