Following Sunday's defeat to the Ucendu Warriors, the Saraki Boys defender says his side poor form is due to tiredness from excessive match trips

ABS FC's Ebuka Anaekwe has attributed his side poor form to fatigue following their defeat at Abia Warriors on Sunday.

The defender says staying on the road for hours to honour away fixtures has taken a huge toll on the team.

"I think what is affecting the team is fatigue," Anaekwe told Goal

"We are tired. We are always on the road for hours and coming home to play before travelling again for another away match immediately.

"I won't say I'm disappointed with our performance so far this season. We are playing really well but the results are not forthcoming.  It is not easy for us.

"We have an away match to play against Rivers United and still have a home match to play," he added.

The Saraki Boys conceded two goals within the final ten minutes at the at the Umuahia Township Stadium to slump to their sixth defeat of the season.

"It is really sad we lost. We had control of the game until the 80th minute and we just lost concentration," Anaekwe told Goal.

"We didn't well enough to avoid conceding those late goals. The goals they scored us were not really their making because we gave them those goals."
