Left back Reuben Onsando underwent a successful knee surgery on Wednesday and will be out for the next six month

Wazito left back Reuben Onsando has been ruled out of action for the remainder of the season.

Onsando underwent a successful knee surgery on Wednesday and will now be out for the next six month. “I am happy the surgery went very well. I already miss playing but I am hopeful that I will recover in time to play again soon," Onsando told the club's website.

Onsando tore the lateral collateral ligaments and sprained the anterior cruciate ligaments, making it difficult for him to play. The left back picked up the injury on June 18 during a training session with Consolidated Bank.
