An awkward ball in had to be dealt with, but the centre-back Nub Tola's attempt to clear it saw the ball went horribly wrong

Cambodia defender Nub Tola will be eager to forget the AFF Suzuki Cup clash with Vietnam, after his unfortunate own goal proved the difference between the two sides.

A cross from the Golden Stars spun awkwardly from Tola’s overstretched right shin to loop gracefully over his stranded goalkeeper.

Despite a spectacular strike from Chrenrng Polroth, Cambodia lost 2-1 to Group B winners Vietnam, who now face Indonesia in the semi-final. See the comical strike in the video above!
