The Argentine carried on and scored in the first half but was previously bleeding from his mouth after an incident the referee ruled was incidental.

Lionel Messi was left spitting up blood after taking an elbow from Marcelo early in El Clasico.

But after getting treatment, the Argentine star carried on and found an equalizer in the 33rd minute of the match.

Watch the incident above to see if you think the contact should've drawn a whistle from referee Alejandro Hernandez.
