The 18-year-old gave the United States a major boost against Trinidad & Tobago, scoring a pair of goals in the important matchup in Colorado

Christian Pulisic starred for the U.S. national team in a 2-0 victory over Trinidad & Tobago on Thursday night.

The U.S. is Pulisic's team now

Pulisic scored both goals for his side in the World Cup qualifying match, lifting the Americans to third place in the Hexagonal round of qualifying prior to Sunday's meeting with rival Mexico.

The 18-year-old now has four goals in the previous four games for the Stars and Stripes, while scoring or assisting on seven of the team's last eight goals.

Pulisic opened his memorable match in the 52nd minute, sliding into the 6-yard box to put home a DeAndre Yedlin cross to break a frustrating deadlock.

He then made it two in a 10-minute span, firing a rocket past Trinidad & Tobago goalkeeper Jan-Michael Williams.

The Pennsylvania native now has seven goals in 15 games for the U.S., and he's proving he's not slowing down after an outstanding season with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
