The Ghana midfielder has revealed the existence of negotiations with some clubs in England for a possible move ahead of next season

Ghana international Wakaso Mubarak has revealed holding talks with a couple of clubs in the English Premier League over a possible move against next season.

The 26-year-old, who signed a three-year deal with Greek giants Panathinaikos last season, was loaned out to Granada, who have been relegated from La Liga. He made eleven appearances and scored one goal for the Spanish outfit.

Reports suggest that Swansea City and West Ham have expressed interest in the midfielder and are willing to either acquire him on a season-long loan or buy out of his remaining two years with Panathinaikos.

"I don’t have much to say about reports but it is true that I have being linked with some clubs in the Premier League and there have been some talks between them and my counsel," Wakaso said during a public event in Accra on Saturday.

"I am now waiting and expecting the talks to be finalised and then move to England very soon.

"It is almost every player's dream to play in England so I'm not an exception and hopefully things will be smooth for me in the coming weeks," he added.

Wakaso previously played for Spanish sides Elche, Villarreal, Las Palmas and Espanyol as well as Celtic in Scotland.
