This week saw intense action in the AFC Champions League 2017 with the first leg matches of the quarter-final knockout stage taking place.
Among all the stellar performances that we saw, we have picked out three standout performers for the fans to deliberate upon and decide whose contribution was the best of the lot.
Our first candidate is the Toyota Player of the Week, Yu Kobayashi of Kawasaki Frontale. Kobayashi was in scintillating form for his side and scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Urawa Red Diamonds.
Our second candidate is Goal's Player of the Week, Wu Lei of Shanghai SIPG. The Chinese winger was also in very good form against Guangzhou Evergrande, scoring two goals apart from winning a penalty as Shanghai won 4-0.
Our final candidate for the honour is Al Ain goalkeeper Khalid Eisa who helped his team keep a cleansheet against Al Hilal. He made six saves in a 0-0 draw which could prove to be vital for his side.
