Vihiga United and Wazito handed easy KPL debut fixtures

KPL will kick off on February 2 where champions Gor Mahia will open their title defence against Nakumatt

Newly promoted sides, Vihiga United and Wazito FC will make their Kenyan Premier League debuts at Bukhungu and Thika Sub County stadia respectively.

Vihiga will host Mathare United in Kakamega in their opening KPL match as Wazito welcome Sony Sugar at either Thika or Machakos in relatively favourable fixtures.

But the two newly promoted outfits will have tough outings in the subsequent matches when they play GOtv Shield winners and runners-up, AFC Leopards and Kariobangi Sharks respectively.
