VIDEO: Red cards galore as Ligue 1 derby ends in brawl

"Le Derby" between Saint-Etienne and Lyon lived up to its billing Sunday, spilling into a shoving match in stoppage time of a 2-0 Saint-Etienne victory in Ligue 1 play.

Algeria international Rachid Ghezzal saw his second yellow card in stoppage time and was a bit over-exuberent in bidding farewell to Saint-Etienne's Fabien Lemoine, pulling him down from the neck as he made his exit from the pitch.

A minute later, his Lyon teammate Corentin Tolisso also took aim at Lemoine with a rash tackle that drew a straight red from referee Tony Chapron, but not before both sides came together in a shoving match.

Tolisso's frustration continued as he went into the tunnel, kicking a door on the way to the locker room. But Lyon wasn't the only team left frustrated by the fracas, as ASSE president Bernard Caiazzo vented to reporters in the mixed zone about Lyon's aggressive behaviour.

The result sees the hosts draw to within a point of Lyon for fourth place in Ligue 1.
