Pires urges Arsenal to prepare correctly for Bayern challenge

Robert Pires has called on Arsenal to ensure that they are properly prepared for a Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich.

The former Gunners winger admits that it is ‘unfortunate’ for the Premier League heavyweights to have once again been paired with the Bundesliga title holders at the last 16 stage.

He is, however, of the opinion that Bayern may not be the force they once were as they continue to adjust to life under Carlo Ancelotti in continental competition.
