The Japanese forward had to do it all on his own as he fired Oita Trinita into the lead against Yokohama with an excellent strike

After two tries to find a team-mate in the box merely bounced right back to him, Kazushi Mitsuhira took matters into his own hands to give Oita Trinita a late lead against Yokohama.

With the scores tied at 1-1 heading into the final 10 minutes, the 29-year-old striker received the ball on the edge of the area and lunged in an attempt to feed it through the defence.

When it hit the defender and bounced back to him, he flicked it in mid air, only to see a defender head it clear.

Mitsuhira read the situation well, though, and met the ball with a half volley and sent it flying into the net.

Sadly for him, Yokohama were awarded a second penalty of the game later on and secured a draw.
