As the two midfield players came together for the ball, one came away far worse than the other

There have been a string of high-profile head injuries in football over the past few months, thankfully with no serious implications.

It seems that is the case for Pohang Steelers midfielder Ji-Soo Hwang, but although he was up and about after being kicked in the face during their K League match with Ulsan on Saturday, he did end up with a broken nose.

The Pohang player was challenged by Jae-Yong Jung, who scored twice during the game, and felt the full force of his boot as his opponent attempted to clear the ball.

The match ended 2-1 to the home side, who go second after the first game of the new season.
