Manchester City players have paid tribute to Turkish chef Nusret Gokce by performing his viral 'Salt Bae' during a mid-season trip to his restaurant in Abu Dhabi.
Footage of the City squad was released on midfielder Ilkay Gundogan's Instagram in which the likes of Pablo Zabaleta and Nicolas Otamendi can be seen enjoying themselves on a night out.
Gokce has become an internet sensation for his flamboyant method of salting meat and has been imitated by a number of footballers across Europe.
Arsenal's Danny Welbeck celebrated his double for the Gunners in their FA Cup tie with Southampton with the tribute in January, while Bayer Leverkusen's Hakan Calhanoglu and Omer Toprak mimicked the pose to celebrate their 3-1 win over Hertha Berlin a week prior.
With an eight-day break between City's 5-3 Champions League victory over Monaco and their FA Cup replay with Championship side Huddersfield on Wednesday, the team enjoyed some down time while manager Pep Guardiola took the chance to hold a meeting with owner Sheik Mansour.
The Etihad club currently sit third in the Premier League table, 11 points behind leaders Chelsea.
