The D.C. United rookie took a pass at the top of the box and hit a fantastic first-time effort in off the post, giving FC Dallas goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez no chance.

Harkes, the son of former U.S. national team captain John Harkes, was signed as a homegrown player before the 2017 season.

The 22-year-old won the Hermann Trophy in January as college soccer's top player, following his final year at Wake Forest University.
