Gerso Fernandes is adjusting nicely to life in Major League Soccer.
Just days after the Sporting Kansas City attacker starred in his side's 2-2 draw at Orlando City, the Guinea-Bissau native scored three goals in 13 minutes in a 3-0 win over Seattle on Wednesday.
Gerso netted in the 56th, 58th and 69th minute, turning a scoreless encounter into a comfortable win for Sporting KC.
The treble meant Gerso is the first Sporting KC player to score a MLS hat trick since Birahim Diop in 2010. The former Belenenses player now has five goals in 12 league matches on the season.
