Graziano Pelle has been far from prolific since swapping Southampton for Shandong Luneng, but his latest effort was a stunning strike which proves he has lost none of his touch.

The Italy international completed a lucrative move to China in the summer of 2016.

He has been a regular source of goals, but the target has not been found as frequently as he would have liked.

The 32-year-old took that frustration out on Beijing Guoan in his most recent outing, as he netted a spectacular volley.

Pelle did not allow the ball to hit the floor as he calmly controlled with his first touch and sent a dipping effort into the back of the net with his second.
