Cesc Fabregas is not renowned for his goalscoring prowess, but the Chelsea midfielder has been fine-tuning his set-piece accuracy in training.

With the likes of Eden Hazard, David Luiz, Diego Costa and Willian alongside him at Stamford Bridge, the Blues’ World Cup winner does not get much of a look in at dead-ball situations.

He has, however, shown that he is more than capable if called upon.

Thibaut Courtois’ response to that stunning strike is not offered up by Fabregas, but he is unlikely to have produced something similar.

Fabregas, though, will be hoping that he can provide a similar moment of inspiration for Chelsea on Monday when they face Middlesbrough seeking to take another positive step towards the securing of the Premier League title.
