Having left Wales for Qatar side Lekhwiya in 2014, the Spaniard has picked up an impressive five pieces of silverware, including two league titles, but his luck in the AFC Champions League this season has been in stark contrast.

Earlier in May, the 30-year-old accidentally turned the ball into his own net with a flick that opponent Al Fateh strikers would have been proud of themselves, but ultimately it mattered little as the match ended 4-1 in favour of Lekhwiya.

More recently, however, Chico managed to perfectly dink home a square ball to cost his side the tie in a 1-0 result against Persepolis on Tuesday - see the footage of his second screw-up of the month at the head of the page!
